 Much like any other television show this was dramatized. The sparks and
audio were added during editing; the actual PSUs used could arc under 1/4
inch (I suspect it would be a NIGHTMARE to try and insulate the kind of
voltage those sparks lead you to believe is present through the mile or so
of wire used for the stunt. Plus, as anyone who has touched a 110V line
knows, it does not take high voltage to produce a painful shock).
