Hello Terry,
I use lead free solder not only for my own health but also to save
the environment.
I both mine at Farnell. I will read its specifications to you;
Brandname: Multicore
Lead free 99.7% tin, 0.3% copper.
227 deg. C. melting point. Tip temperature 350 to 370 deg. C.
Contains 5 cores of mildly activated non corrosive 362 rosin based flux.
Amber colored rosin residues do not require cleaning
Available in 0.71mm and 1.22mm
Like I said, not just for your own health but also to save the environment.
Kind regards,
Sebastiaan
