Re: Best TC site ;-)

Hi Terry, that is very nice of you say!

But of course, I look at everyone else's site and I am often in awe of the great photo's of their components, coils, and most of all, workmanship!

This list literally built the programs. I am just the coiler who compiled everyone's work into online programs. The programs are a reflection of everyone's efforts on this list. A great kudo to Paul Nicholson who applied known physics to our application. Without Paul, we may still be in the ages of misconception. There are those on this list who understand that statement from a personal interface with Paul. Paul did not rewrite coil physics, he applied Tesla coils to modern physics, and he did that with our help of measurement and verification against theory and mathematical analysis. It is the efforts by Paul, Terry, and many others that advanced the lists understanding of Tesla coils and how to apply a design for accurate results.

Take care,
Bart

Hi,

You may want to try the JAVATC program: http://www.classictesla.com/java/javatc.html

I hope I don't step on too many toes ;O)))))) But IMHO, Bart's programs ARE the best general use ones out there for sure!!!

http://www.classictesla.com/java/javammc/javammc.html

IMHO the best TC site of the year!!!

http://www.classictesla.com/

The programs there my require a bit of "study" (it IS a complex thing ;-))), but that study is the best TC builder's time spent!!!!!!!

Cheers,
