whereas his e-mail was "John H. Couture <couturejh@xxxxxxxxxxx>", in
'96 he signed as "Jack Couture" (just try to search the archieves).

so who is this guy in the reality - John, Jack, both, or somebody else?

I have never heard of a coiler blowing up a pole pig!  A pole pig can
easily blow up a coiler, however.  You could also be hit by a bus though.
