Farm animal feed supply store (co-ops) sell mineral oil in gallon quantities as a laxitive for farm animals but your best
bet would be to find one of your local oil supply distributors
and ask them for transformer oil. Shell has Shell Diala AX
and you can usually get it in 5 gallon buckets for around $30
(or at least you COULD before OPEC started their most recent price gouging!) or if you want a lot, you can also get it
in 55 gallon drums.

Where does one buy mineral oil? Walmart doesn't have it, they said they keep ordering it but never get it. It could also be the city it's in, as other Walmarts sell ammo and this one doesn't. Not that the two are related in any way.....just an example of different stock at different Walmarts.
