All,
Part One (one of two magazines of the August 2005 issue of IEEE
Transactions on Plasma Science) is a special issue devoted to Power
Modulators and Repetitive Pulsed Power. You may want to check out
this issue at your local university technical library - lots of
interesting articles on electrical breakdown, high voltage/high power
pulse generators. Articles include solid state Marx generators, a
High Frequency Multimegawatt Polyphase Resonant Power Conditioner,
analysis of high power IGBT short circuit failures, E-field control
of high voltage air core pulse transformers, and the latest in
silicon carbide super GTO devices. These articles are also online if
you have access to IEEE Xplore through a university library.
Best regards,
Bert
