Hi,
Magnetek "still" makes them (15kV 120mA) as they are used often in
"Vegas"... But you will pay $500+ for them new!!!... You have to
call and get a "special" deal on them since they do not advertise
them normally.... I just sold my last new one, from the Jon Tebb's
traveling deal, to Dave in Loveland. I have not heard what he has
done with it ;-))
Cheers,
Terry

I've also noticed 120 mA versions. Rare as hen's teeth and cost about
4 x more than 4 30 mA versions combined. Are those even used anymore?
Mike
Hi Mike,
Yes, they are becoming very rare because they were mainly used in
the giant neon displays of the "movie palaces" and "seedy hotels" of
the 40's and 50's. As these gave way to the smaller marquees and
translucent plastic signs with internal lighting, of the Megaplex
and Motel 6, the need for big transformers fell away. Where NSTs are
still used, they have been replaced by sets of much smaller NSTs and
now the newer HF ones.
(Bars and restaurants seldom need more than a 30 ma model to
advertise beer etc.)
