Terry, do you have any experience building hall magnetometers for
hobbyist? I've looked for them, but it seems there are no plans or
schematics available. The better commercial ones are very expensive.

I have never really worked with them. I seem to remember their
frequency response was too low for anything I was doing...
The sensors themselves are sold by many places for little money. I
don't think it is too hard to hook them up with a little
electronics. The fancy ones are calibrated and have linearly
corrected outputs which is why they cost a lot.
