Greetings,
I'm designing my full wave bridge using many 1N5408 diodes
and I was wondering if a formula exists to help me determine
minimum component spacing for a given voltage.
I'm aiming for about 500V on each diode, but I'd probably
like to design for 1kV to be safe when it comes to spacing.
Of course there is the risk of drawing an arc if the diodes
are too close to one another, but are there any other factors
that I should be considering?
Thanks!
Justin
