If anyone is interested I have a Java program somewhere which plots the
electric and/or magnetic fields in a section of waveguide for different
ratios of dimensions to each other and to the wavelength. Might be
kinda interesting to stick typical MO parameters into it. There will be
a question of which modes are excited.
