I didn't see anyone else point this out; excuse me if someone did.
But 18kV MMC is not sufficient. The capacitors should be rated
above the peak voltage of your NST which is
SQRT(2) * NST voltage
1.414 * 15,000 = 21,210 volts.
Unless I'm wrong, your MMC should be rated at at least 22kV. Just
trying to help save your monet ;-)
