hello all,
i had the oppertunity to aquire several welding transformers...
one is marked 3400-0-3400 secondary and is tradional E & I
construction (14" tall x 12" wide x 10" deep) the other one is
unmarked except for 'UNIVERSAL VOLTRONICS' It is steel band in
construction. there are 5 primary lugs... if i put 12VAC across pri.
i get 4" spark on a SS spark gap...
is there any info out there or tests that i can do to figure out some
specs.?? FYI - the 3400-0-3400 has 148 ohms across sec. the
'UNIVERSAL VOLTRONICS' is 1043 ohms across sec.
