Looking around the DIY store this past weekend, most buckets I came across
were HDPE.  As I indicated in a previous thread, I am thinking about placing
a small x-ray transformer under oil into a bucket.  I had mentioned PVC, but
a couple of people said it was able to absorb water and suggested other
plastics (the one suggested I couldn't find)- would HDPE be acceptable?  I
can't recall the other type of plastic bucket I saw, but it had similarly
stamped initials on the bottom.  Anyway, thanks for the thoughts here.
