I'll second that, Arpit.  The company suggested for Al wire in Australia 
sells copper wire, but bare, it would appear.  Not really interested in 
do-it-yourself varnishing ;-)

So, can anyone suggest a good supplier in this country?  Due to the 
distribution of the population over here, one who ships for a decent rate 
is a must...
