Hmm, I guess vacuum motors, along with some of the other sundry
things Jan mentioned (thanks!), sound like they'd work well.  I'd
actually considered vacuums, but thought surely if people were
throwing them out it would be because they didn't work; however,
after reconsidering, it makes sense that a bunch would still have
working motors.
