Given the ratings (~20J, 500pps, 35kv, 25kApk) I would venture to say some
sort of surgical laser. Nitrogen probably since the 35 kv rating.
Defribrillators also use HV caps, but bigger jule-wise (mine is 7500vdc,
16uF,400J, metal can and weighs about 20-25lb).
