Since when did _any_ types of numbers exist in Nature? They only exist in
the human mind, and maybe a few other animals that know how to count ;)

The same goes for "real" and "imaginary" voltages and currents, it's just
math jargon for dealing with the phase shift between voltage and current for
sine waves in an AC circuit. It's not like imaginary quantities actually
have any amazingly deep physical significance.
