RE: Current in capacitors used for MMC ...

A couple problems here.
Let's say you are shooting for a .022uF cap. You would need a string of
100 2.2uF caps to achieve that. More than a few.
More to the point, polypropylene film-foil caps simply are not made in a
2.2uF/2000V size, so what you have is not polypropylene film-foil.
Or is it possible you meant 2.2nF? That could be polypropylene film-foil,
but again, you would need quite a large number of them to achieve a useful
value.
There is no simple way to determine the current rating - you must have a
manufacturer's part number or data sheet.

I have got few capacitors for MMC caps bank.
The person who sells the caps has no idea about its current ratings.
It is a 2.2uF, 2000V caps, "Box type" capacitor.
Manufacturer : Alcon
Length : 40mm
Height : 20mm
Lead thickness (approx. 1mm)
How do I find out its 'Amp'acity and maximum dV/dt (without connecting the
caps to the circuit) ?
