The all-thread screw rod my tend to grab and push the upright 2x4s as it
turns.  I sleeved mine with copper pipe inserts.  Maybe some candle wax
would let it slip ok too.

	I cheated.  Turned the two ends of the threaded rod down root of the
threads to eliminate most of the threads and run them through 1/2" brass
plate to serve as bearings.
