Yep 12kV is the rating for those things - HVR-1X. I have a catalogue
from a supplier of these things & this is a very common type no. They
also sell generic, 'no-frills' diodes & they're all rated 9 OR 12Kv.
(Remember this is PEAK Inverse Volts) and in the 300 - 750mA range.

12 kV seems unlikely to me, but then I don't know all MWO components.
