I don't know how many of you have ever tried to machine copper, but
it's really hard even with sharp tools.  Can be done and certainly
skilled machinists do very well, but it's not a job for the amateur.  M
aybe there's a lubricant that helps, but I've never had much luck.  Same
thing goes for machining lead.......  STill wonder why copper is
necessary instead of brass.
