This toroid sizing thing seems to be a huge issue of hit and miss,
observe and speculate, etc.
Thanx for the input.
Experience (other people's) is all I have to grab onto at this point.

My big coil (15/60 NST, LTR, sync gap) now has a 8 x 32 toroid on it and

"still" think it is too small! The arcs hit the ceiling and floor, but

still gets four streamers most of the time until one starts to really
dominate and reach out.
In my humble opinion, may it as big as you reasonably can.
I think the toroid an my small coil is too small too...
