Nikola Tesla and Direct Coupled Tesla Coils

I don't currently have a copy of Nikola Tesla's Colorado Spring Notes, but
was wondering if anyone has information or notes that show Nikola Tesla
working with directly coupled (as opposed to magnetically coupled) tesla
systems.

I know that Seibt did considerable work in this area about 10 years earlier
than tesla in the early 1890's, but wasn't sure if Tesla himself did much
research
in that area.
