alright, but these are designed to absorb RF energy in the since of
"filtering" I beleive. So it might work. I guess testing will be the answer.

Hi,

     Filter caps do not absorb any RF energy. Their function is to shunt 
the ripples in the rectified DC to ground and in their designed use should 
never see any actual voltage reversals.
