Hello.

looks like an ABB transformer from the first pic, even though it's a
Westinghouse. Maybe ABB bought them out. In any case, the top nut on top
comes off, and the lid should lift off. There is some torque chart for them
to make sure the lid can flex and "burp" to release pressure before the
transformer explodes when it gets too hot. I don't have it though. Most
other transformers have something called a "chime ring" which clamps around
the lid and a lip on the tank. They're a hassle to get off as you need to
flex them open enough to slide off without cutting up your gasket.
