Ive used these gate drivers on a seemingly endless number of projects,
almost never have a problem with them. But then there are some times
where one of them just burns itself up and i have to replace it. Ive
run them with no load quite often, not a problem whatsoever. When i
had my last one fail it was driving some IGBTs, so im not sure. I
guess the best piece of advise i could offer is to have some extras
around!
