That's not correct. Ozone has a strong smell and at only a few times more
concentration irritating to your eyes nose and throat.
Its also very poisons.  The long term exposure limits are so low that if you
can smell its too high.
Some thing like a few part per million.

This is on old thread that seems to pop up every now and then.

Check any elementary inorganic text book or do a goggle search at TECHNICAL
SITES to confirm this.
