RE: New, de-potted 15kV, 60mA Franceformers

When I heard Franceformer was stopping production of their 15kV, 60mA 
asphalt potted neons, I bought 8 of them from a local dealer (N. Glantz and 
Sons).  I'm thinking of de-potting them and will sell 2 to others if 
there's any interest.  I'm going to heat them in the oven (fire 
extinguisher nearby) and pour out the asphalt and repeat one or two 
times.  All that will be needed is to soak them in gasoline for a day or 
two and remove the last of the asphalt with a brush.  And, if you're 
feeling up to it, remove 7 or 8 of the shunts to up the ampherage to around 
75mA.  These are brand new units that have never seen power.
