The Prius and the Tesla coil

I've just taken delivery of a 2004 Toyota Prius gas/electric automobile.
It has a 200 V NiMH battery pack whose state of charge is kept between 50
and 80% or so, by its gas engine and motor/generator, regardless of
whether or not the car is moving. Since it's a hatch-back with fold-down
rear seats, it would have plenty of room for carrying around one's
apparatus. One could draw kilowatts of power from it, at 200 Vdc,
indefinitely. So who's going to be the first in all the world to power
his or her solid-state Tesla coil from a Prius?

Not me, alas: all talk and no action.
