The 255khz measurement was constant from when the coil was lighting a
flourescent tube and there were no streamers to when the sparks hit the 24"
mark. I did not apply full power to the system as the CRO was close by and
did not want to damage it. I have tried tuning the coil with more or less
capacitance in the tank circuit and best performance is with the values i
have now. It has a topload of a 6" x 1.25" toroid.
