Hi Jim,
Yeah i did find my larger sidacs, but the smaller ones never failed and i
know i used them to at least a thousand pulses now (i ran it at like 10
pulses a second for awhile and then not to mention 1pps for several amusing
minutes). Maybe your cap was larger than 1uf? or maybe your coils just
had less inductance (were they high performance coils?).
I guess this is something to beware of, though i havent had a failure yet.
