Hi Pat,
I see two things that could use some improving. First off, lose the single
static gap in favor of a multiple copper pipe unit. One inch pipe couplings
are cheap, and use four or five with a total gap spacing of about .2 or so.
Also, your toroid could be quite a bit bigger. My personal opinion is that
the small six inch is way too small for a 7.5/30. Get some 3" drier duct,
and go for about 16" OD. This should also allow you to tap further out,
which would be benificial.
