Those circular magnets from MO's plate turners have multiple poles, around 8
from memory which is easily seen with ferro fluid or iron filings. At 5 W =
6 mHp (millihorsepower) I doubt that they could be adapted to Tesla spark
gap use even with a micropropellor gap.

For comparison my angle grinder ARSG is rated at 11,000 rpm at 1100 W with 8
electrodes for a breakrate of 1460/sec although this is one of the fastest
rates I have heard of.
