I can't say I am. As usual, power is the driver behind long arcs.
Another example of a strong power dependency is an arc welder. The
voltage is low by any standards but the available power allows one to
draw arcs out over a foot long. Then there is that video of a
switchyard breaker opening, courtesy of Bert Hickman......
