hi there,
i must agree with these statements in part. i was spending all
my spare time in the garage to begin with, which was of course(and rightly
so) upsetting the wife. but now i have calmed down a bit and spend a bit
more time in the house my wife is fine with it. the only thing to cure the
fear of the coil is getting people used to it! my wife was scared stiff of
the 2' arcs i was making at first fearing me burning down my whole town. now
she looks upon my 5' arcs and says come you can get bigger than that. i now
tell her of the planned 10' arcs form the magnifier and shes not scared now
but just thinks im mad for having such a strange hobby.
so my advice is get your wife to read the list a bit. perhaps even ask the
questions for herself. the other thing is to let her see pics of huge arcs
so yours will seem smaller. and last but not least try to get her to
understand.
