On the upper end of the fl. tube attach at 10 x10" metal plate (antenna) and
then hook a ground wire on the other end of the tube.  It now acts like a
radio antenna and picks up a lot more RF to light the tube.

Neon has the greatest sensitivity to RF so you might wish to try a neon tube
as well.  Have a local shop make up a 30 inch x 22 mm neon tube for you ---
not very expensive.  Use plastic ties to attach it securely to a 30 inch
long 1/2 inch dia. PVC tube for support.
