The arc cannot be "drawn" out as it is not continuous.  It is a very short
high voltage pulse.  Right now maximum arc
length is about 15-16 inches.  Once I run the marx generator a full voltage
(40kv opposed to 20kv), i should be able
to hit the 2 foot mark.
