Hi All,
I would say a CO2 for both indoor and outdoor coiling would be fine. With
CO2 you won't have the nasty powder to clean up afterward. Here's a tip,
dry chemical extinguishers can pack down if stored upright too long,
preventing full discharge for gas fill. Store them on their side. The act
of lifting them upright loosens the powder and you get full discharge. ( A
Coast Guard Captain's Trick)
There is another agent called Purple K that is for electrical equipment I
think. I have only seen it in a theatrical projection booth, and I don't
know much about it.
