They are not current limited (but again, the fuse is easy to blow). Fixed
load = it will run the rated load, not 2x rated load, or load +100 watts.
Think of it like 74xx series logic chips. They are rated 5 volts- not 6
volts, not 5.5 volts, not 5.3 volts.
Some specs are actually meant to be observed.
