My TT-32 coil gave about 20" to 24" sparks when powered by a
normal Jefferson Magnetek 6/30 NST and a SRSG. It's true the
spark is shorter than the formula predicts, but not that much shorter.
I do feed the coil with 140V for a 120V NST. I don't remember how
long the spark was when fed with 120V. I used a 3" x 10" spun
toroid.
