hi antonio,
                 i have only held the piece with a bolt for ease just to
practise my spinning. i will once i have made the arbours hold it clamped as
you say so i can make complete spheres.
i like the idea of soldering copper spheres together
im in the process of making the toroid forms at present ready to start my
first spun toroid
