Re: Bush on Tesla Coil

Hi Bert,

Shooting 4 foot streamers off the fingers dressed in a shirt and tie is
asking for some trouble :o)) It takes little for the arc to decide it
wants to go to an earlobe, elbow, butt... Could set one's clothes on fire
since they do not wet down in this case... All kinds of things could go
wrong...

It looks like Dean is down to about 150kV these days... "Video" is always
hard to tell... I wonder if something happened... Dean always has a
pretty terrified look on his face. I wonder if that is more "real" than we
suspect :o))

Robert Krampf seems far mare aware of field control and does not have as
much of a hair problem to deal with ;o))

He is shooting the "big arcs" in a shirt and tie, but he is crotched down
and not making any "extra" breakout points. Robert has also been doing
this stuff for like 25 years... IMHO his technique is far better. He is
much more aware of a streamer taking off in a bad place and is controlling
breakout points well.

I notice Cynder Moon our other "lightning off the fingers" performer seems
to have disappeared of the net. See did not wear a shirt and tie =8O

Cheers,

         Terry
