I hope you meant 300 mf motor RUN cap, not a start cap.  Only run caps are
suitable for pf correction for typical run times longer than a few seconds.
Start caps cannot withstand continuous duty and can overheat and explode.

Ok but what does this mean for the coiler?. it means a cap across your NST
or MOT makes it draw less amps out of the wall.

My 2, 12/60's like  a 300mf motor start cap.
