RS, Farnell and probably others stock a range of non inductive planar thick
film carbon resistors that are great for pulse/rf applications and far
cheaper than the likes of Victoreen or Meggitt.  The larger size is rated at
5kV DC.  4 of the 10k units should do the trick, RS part number 239-2761.
 >From memory I think they're about £0.50 each.
