Since you asked.. I did a search for Wavetek 27XT and price..
As Terry added, lots around $120
Tequipment-dot-net claims 98.75 (sale price)
http://www.tequipment-dot-net/WavetekPriceList.html
lashen-dot-com is 116.96 (although they have a price break at qty 5)
http://www.lashen-dot-com/vendors/Wavetek/Meterman/xtseries.asp
wavetek/metermantesttools-dot-com quotes $119.95, (but that includes a
screwdriver too??)
circuitspecialists-dot-com quotes
$98.95 http://www.circuitspecialists-dot-com/level.itml/icOid/988
used-line-dot-com (tucker, under a different name) is selling them for $75
(used, but presumably calibrated)
I don't know what the exchange rate is right now, but if it's 2:1 AUD$:US$
then it's about the same in Australia (AUD$238.50 (but that's tax included!!))
As before.. Sales tax and shipping are probably more significant.
