Yes, it is possible the camera was being effected. That's kind of why I was
asking Marc how it looked during operation vs. what his video frames
revealed. The ionization may be standing out to some degree, but there are
balls of light at various points along the channels as can be seen in some
of this pics. It's probable that the video camera was responsible for
capturing this phenomenon. Note, the camera didn't create it, it captured
it. Does the same camera capture the same effect on a typical coil? It
would need to be verified to find out unless one could distinguish this
phenomenon by eye.
