Thanks, I just lowered the secondary to increase the coupling, I made a
series of wooden blocks that would allow me to set the height of the
secondary coil I started with all of them in and just removed them and
now I just run it with none.

Yeah, the caps were quite expensive but I think they are worth every
cent!.

Wow! I just knew that these MOTs were capable. Nice job on making that
sync
motor. How did you increase the coupling---lowering the secondary or
building
a new primary? Those caps probably cost you a bundle, but the rest of it
proves
you don't have to spend a lot to have a nice coil.
