How do guys use a single HV terminal pole pig? In this
description apparently the case is the "neutral" for a
WYE step down application. That would mean that to use
it backwards as a step up transformer, wouldnt the
case be neecessary for one of the primary connections?
This only leaves one top terminal for the high voltage
side. How do people deal with these one terminal HV
pole pigs, and is the case instead one of the high
voltage terminals? Couldnt we instead just use two of
the LV side terminals for the primary, inputing it
instead as a delta input, which would give a better
step up ratio? I am utterly confused here on this one.
