You could go to <http://www.geocities-dot-com/>www.geocities-dot-com. Even better
create mirror sites on several different free servers and speard the
traffic between them, but then again it's a pain to set something up like
that and even more so to debug.

Hi

I received a notice from Earthlink that my web site was receiveing too much
traffic. Earthlink sent me a monthly bill for the usually $19.95 plus an
additional $90.00 fee for my web site excessive traffic. I dropped
Earthlink and my web site was deleted about 30 days later. It was
interesting about 3 months later my web site was back online. I received a
letter from Earthlink that my web site had been restored by popular demand.
They offered me 3 months of free service to return to Earthlink and the
normal $19.95 monthly fee. I returned to Earthlink about 9 months later. I
tried to sign up with my old Nickname but got messages saying that Nickname
was in use. I signed up under a different Nickname and have been on
Earthlink again for almost 2 years. My web site stayed online ! until about 6
months ago and was removed again. I am planning to drop Earthlink again my
connection speed is 2k with a 56K modem. Internet service sucks, web pages
take several minutes to load, I get disconnected over and over, phone lines
are busy. I think the real problem is the phone lines not Earthlink.
Bellsouth now has their own internet service and their method of getting new
customes is not to fix phone lines problems and frustrated customes will
switch to Bellsouth.
