Chances are? What is the basis of that assumption? Why do YOU assume that
it is the vendor's fault? Or are you saying that, if a person is injured,
even through their own negligence, they have a right to pick someone else's
pocket for the balance of their expenses?

I believe we can agree on ethical standards without having been criminals
ourselves.

Had there been a severe injury due to a Tesla Coil accident, there would
have been a lot of press and other news coverage and web chatter. To me,
the lack of coverage implies the lack of bizarre accident AND implies a
dissatisfied-customer annoyance suit, for which we've all been screwed.
IMO, It is the hobby that seems to be the real injured party in this. I
think the circumstances and the ID of the party should be published on line
so we could all send our "heart-felt wishes".
